Lost in Space

I’m just going to be switching themes on this blog constantly until something suits me, don’t pay me any attention. This one is Brian Veloso’s “Chaotic Soul”, and it appears to be pretty damn buggy. I do love the color scheme though. Wordpress themes are so easy, but the idea of someone else having the exact same website as me kind of sucks. Especially as a designer, I really want to have a unique site, but due to time constraints I am going to have to settle on somebody else’s hard work.

Lots of stuff going on in “real life” these days. I am buying my first place, going through what could only be collectively known as “Mortgage Hell”. If I get another document pamphlet full of indecipherable legal jargon I am going to shoot myself. Is it possible to find a mortgage company that just makes it simple? I’m afraid to sign these documents, really.

The place I’m buying is being totally renovated, so the girlfriend and I get to pick out all the little details. The tiles in the bathroom, the type of granite for the counter tops, and the color of the walls to name a few things. I’m interested to see how my design sense from the web translates into interior design, I’m guessing it will go alright.

Since I took down my website (everything but this blog), my organic search traffic has plummeted to nothingness. That is OK with me I guess, I’m back to languishing in the dark corners of the interweb once again.
