A security maintenance upgrade for Plogger has just been released. If you are running Plogger Beta 2, I strongly suggest you upgrade to 2.1 in order to keep your website safe from hackers. The buzz about Plogger’s security vulnerabilities has been building slowly, but the influx of security bulletins we’ve found in the last month suggests that some sort of critical mass of awareness has been reached.

On a positive note, this month while I wasn’t looking, Plogger turned over 10,000 downloads! Congratulations to all the guys the helped make this happen, particularly Anti Veeranna and Ryan Duff, whose continued support of the project is admirable. Great job guys.
