Curses! My complete disregard for the internet during this trip has cost me a great oppurtunity! Serge — We just passed through Bern two nights ago on our way to Rome. Thank you so much for your invitation, perhaps on another journey I will take you up on that :)

BTW, Interlaken (and Switzerland in general) has been the most profoundly beautiful country I have ever visited. You are a lucky man!

Also, sorry about the French misidentification. I was completely clueless that the Swiss speak French, German, and Italian (and more?).
