Rainy Saturday

My plan for an afternoon of care-free biking, grilling meat products, and laying around Lake Calhoun was foiled by a streak of morning storms. I had laid in bed until two pm — listening to the sound of the rain from my open window — trying to shake the half-drunken dream state that immersed me in strange hypnagogic visions all afternoon.
