The long awaited break of spring, where all school and work related activities give way to ridiculous amounts of drinking and socializing, if finally upon us. Lo and behold, it seems someone forgot to inform the weather that it is supposed to be “warm” and “sunny” in Spring. Instead, the Twin Cities is blessed with damp, cold and rainy skies to hamper any hopes of Spring jubilation.
So this is it, I’m leaving this place. Saturday morning I take flight for the mountains of Colorado to visit The Bald Man™ and his lovely girl Becca for a few days of mountain skiing and high altitude relaxation. After that, it’s on to the dry rocky crags of New Mexico for some much needed sunshine and a much needed reunion with old friends.
I hope to come back rejuvenated and ready to finish this hellishly busy semester. Who knows, I even may graduate this May.
