Dear Mike,

I tried to put the include statement on the top of my template. But the list does not appear at all although I have put the code on the right place. That’s why I need your support to solve the problem.

The Aside section at the sidebar of my weblog is powered by Miniblog Plugin. But I am not satisfied with the result. I think LiveList will fullfil my needs, but unfortunately I cannot put it in dynamic page.

However, I am waiting for the development of your LiveList.

Here’s the thing, you’ll notice that I use a LiveList on my blog page but it is pushed all the way to the bottom of the sidebar. For some reason, if I had it any higher all of the Wordpress functions would start throwing errors.

I really haven’t had time to investigate it, but it seems to work perfectly on non-WP pages. I only use WP for the “Blog” portion of my site and the rest of my pages are hand-coded.

If you want to experiment, place the include statement somewhere at the top of the template page you want a LiveList to appear on. Next, simply use the LiveList function where you want it to appear, it’s really that simple.

I looked at your blog and it appears that you have the asides working in the sidebar, did you get it to work? I have no idea which language you are speaking on the blog, but I notice a post about LiveList :)

I use wordpress and i just want to put the LiveList on the sidebar. Where should I insert the code?

Do you insert it in the theme or in the WP file?

I know that you use WP as your weblog engine and you are able to use it perfectly.

If you look on the front page, the "recent projects" list is a LiveList, I simply add a new item through the admin interface and the list "rotates" showing only the latest three entries. The customer testimonials is also a LiveList (albeit in compact form). The compact form LiveList will be released in the next version. Additionally, the Communique is a LiveList. It is a really simple tool. I have had some problems embedding LiveList's on pages that also contain wordpress dynamic information. They don't seem to get along as of now.

The only system requirement is that your server is running PHP and MySQL (preferably the latest versions). I haven’t tested this on a Windows IIS server either so I recommend using a UNIX based server.

This sounds awesome - just downloaded it and can’t wait to give it a test run :)…one thing I would add to this entry though are system requirements (just a thought)
