Interfacing with your client during the early design phases of the project is a vital step in the project’s lifecycle. It is an invaluable tool to save you time and effort before sending out the contract and beginning production. During my latest project for the redesign of SEOScribes.com, I created eight different layout prototypes in Photoshop before they were satisfied. Constant feedback and evaluation of the prototypes led to furthur tweaks and modifications until the client was satified with the result. The prototype not only serves as a guidepost for your production work, but it also gives your clients a solid understanding of what their finished site will look like.
Just for kicks, I thought I would post up a couple of the mock-ups that did not make it through the starting gate.
